BRIARS was founded to provide a clearer, modern approach to accountancy.

After completing my professional exams, I built broad experience working with limited companies, partnerships and sole traders across a range of industries. During that time, I noticed how many internal accounting processes were outdated and inefficient ā€” leading to reduced levels of service for clients and unnecessary cost.

BRIARS was established to simplify things. By combining modern cloud accounting with strong technical expertise, we provide structured, efficient and reliable accountancy and tax support that genuinely adds value.

MAAT and ICAEW exam qualified

I grew up on the south coast but spent many years in London working for large international charities. I started my accountancy exams as a personal project during COVID , and relocated to the North West shortly after.

My goal now is simple: to give businesses a clearer, more modern approach to accounting and tax.

What I enjoy most about running BRIARS is the variety ā€” no two days are the same. I get great satisfaction in working closely with different businesses and helping clients feel confident and in control in their journeys.

Outside of work, Iā€™m usually out running, keeping fit, or cheering on Arsenal F.C.
